Guided Tour of Wartburg Castle Martin Luther Room
Welcome to Wartburg Castle. As we walk through these ancient halls, we’re heading to a small, unassuming room in the Vogtei, or Bailiff’s Lodge. It may not be the grandest room in the castle, but it is arguably its most famous. This is the Lutherstube, or “Luther’s Room”—a site that is less a room and more a cornerstone of Western history.
