Here is a quick and easy recipe for crispy chicken tacos that can be made in 25 minutes:
Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch pieces
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 2 tbsp sliced jalapeños (optional)
Instructions:
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with the taco seasoning until evenly coated.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until cooked through and crispy on the outside.
- Warm the tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave for 30 seconds to 1 minute, until pliable.
- Divide the crispy chicken evenly among the tortillas. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, shredded cheese, sour cream, and sliced jalapeños if desired.
